Doctoral clinical psychologist delivering hospital consultation-liaison and evidence-based assessments.
What I'm looking for
I’m a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology (APA accredited) and a Consultation & Liaison (C/L) Psychologist at Elmhurst Hospital, where I provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations across medical specialties and emergency settings. I focus on comprehensive medical and psychiatric history, psychosocial assessment, suicidality/homicidality evaluation, and determining psychiatric clearance and level of care needs.
I’ve implemented OPWDD-specific capacity evaluations hospital-wide and developed a hospital-wide therapy service so patients across medical floors can access therapeutic interventions during inpatient stays. I also built and implemented therapy services for individuals in the PRIDE clinic during feminization and masculinization surgery hospitalizations.
My training spans multiple high-acuity settings, including a full doctoral internship at Nassau University Medical Center with C/L, pain management, rehabilitation, neuropsychology exposure, emergency care, inpatient addictions and forensic units, and outpatient intakes and therapy. I’ve provided individual and group therapy, co-led process-oriented groups, mentored externs and residents, and supported families through treatment and discharge planning.
Alongside clinical work, I lead research activities with University of Pennsylvania on first-episode psychosis outcomes and family involvement preferences. My doctoral dissertation—“Impact of Educator Therapy on Personal Wellbeing and Student Functioning”—has been completed and defended, and I’ve presented findings on educator therapy, school mental health supports, and related research topics.
