Doctoral candidate specializing in English literature and cultural studies.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated scholar currently pursuing my Doctorate in English Language and Literature at the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah in Fes, Morocco. My dissertation, which has received a very honorable mention with a recommendation for publication, explores the intricate negotiations of faith and identity among Muslim women in contemporary transnational fiction. My academic journey has been enriched by various scholarships, including the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program, which allowed me to broaden my horizons at the University of Debrecen in Hungary.
Throughout my academic career, I have actively engaged in research and publication, contributing to various esteemed journals and conferences. My work has focused on themes of agency, identity, and cultural representation, particularly in relation to Muslim women's experiences in literature. I have served as a journal reviewer for notable publications and have been involved in teaching as a tutor at the Institute of English and American Studies Writing Center. My passion for cultural studies and literature drives my commitment to fostering understanding and dialogue in diverse academic settings.
