At CDAC Noida, I monitor security events with Wazuh SIEM and investigate incidents by correlating Windows and Linux logs, firewall events, and network traffic. I identify indicators of compromise and map observed threat behaviors to MITRE ATT&CK.
I also assess vulnerabilities using Nessus and OpenVAS, prioritize findings with CVSS ratings, and coordinate remediation and rescans. I use Burp Suite to simulate web attacks and document security findings.
On my ongoing Web Attack Simulation and Event Monitoring personal lab project, I use simulated attacks to practice monitoring events, correlating network traffic, and developing custom security rules. I’m continuing hands-on defensive security training through TryHackMe and pursuing the Certified Blue Team Practitioner.
