At AfterShoot, I played a key role in developing Photon from scratch through its first release. I worked on its import/export pipeline, image processing, rendering, filtering, metadata, and database handling.
I optimized grid rendering on slow I/O devices, making it 7× faster, and wrote an internal tool to parse and write XMP metadata in sidecar files and embedded image files.
Previously, I engineered a Rust backend encoder and decoder system using OS APIs at Helmer, and enhanced GraphQL benchmarks and performance testing at Tailcall. At RustDesk, I fixed bugs and implemented features, including improvements for Wayland Linux and Windows support.
