At Office of Dr. Rasem Badran, I research Arabic architectural vocabulary and lead a lexicon that groups terms into 13 semantic clusters. I distinguish near-synonyms, trace how meanings change across dictionary, Quranic and everyday usage, and analyze words by root and pattern.
I evaluate AI-generated Arabic research text for semantic accuracy, terminology and scholarly register, and rewrite drafts that fail those standards. I also identify machine-written Arabic from its phrasing and structure, and documented failure modes across seven AI revisions of a design task.
I co-authored a scholarly Arabic book on architectural thinking and drafted research papers, including one on social housing after environmental crisis. As a freelance architect, I authored a 95-page design-standards book and produced detailed construction drawings for café branches.
