What I'm looking for

I am seeking a remote position that allows me to take charge of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial operations and fixed-asset accounting for a US or UK team. I believe these are best done in an efficient system of controls to have an audit-ready record and meet all reporting requirements, paid in USD/GBP.

I am an Accounting and Financial professional with 4 years of experience in fixed asset management, bookkeeping, and internal audit. I developed a Fixed Asset Register from scratch from over 3,000 invoices at 98% accuracy, ensuring full CARO 2020 compliance, and led physical verification of 90% of company assets using a custom-built digital tool.

I handle bookkeeping, bank and ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable support, and month-end close support, all backed by advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Data Validation). I also handle India-specific GST and TDS compliance. I am currently learning QuickBooks Online, US GAAP and Python.

When it comes to internal auditing, my job is to find any financial discrepancies, control gaps, and statutory compliance issues.
