Ruvimbo Mushonga

At Vision Ability Zimbabwe, I assess children and young people with low vision and other disabilities, coordinate assistive devices and referrals, and manage safeguarding action for children at risk of significant harm.

Previously at Family AIDS Caring Trust, I delivered child protection case management for USAID-funded programmes, from intake and assessments to care plans, referrals, safeguarding training, and community awareness.

I've also supported foster care, adoption, residential care, GBV casework, counselling, and school-based psychosocial support. I work closely with government ministries, communities, caregivers, and partner agencies to help children and families access safe, person-centred support.
