At Attractor School, I completed a 12-month Python backend program and contributed to KESTE, a microservice appointment-booking platform. As a Backend Developer on its Organization Service, I designed a REST API with 32 endpoints.
I migrated the service from synchronous SQLAlchemy to SQLAlchemy 2.0 Async with asyncpg, supporting non-blocking database operations in FastAPI. I also designed a moderation state machine with strict transitions and duplicate-request protection.
I configured Keycloak RBAC with JWT validation and integrated MinIO for media storage, running synchronous uploads through asyncio.to_thread. I set up Docker and GitLab CI workflows and covered the service with unit and integration tests.
Before backend training, I managed food service operations, budgeting, and teams of up to 15 people through entrepreneur/owner-managed projects. I closed the business in July 2025 and began backend training in September 2025.
