Message

At Zimbabwe National Microbiology Reference Laboratory, I coordinate national proficiency testing schemes across HIV rapid testing, Syphilis, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Viral Load, EID, and TB. I lead the development and implementation of quality management systems aligned with ISO/IEC 17043:2023 and ISO/IEC 13528:2022.

I developed Zimbabwe’s first Malaria Rapid Diagnostic Testing proficiency testing scheme and contributed to a multi-disease panel for 5,000 individual testers. Earlier, at PSI Molecular Laboratory, I spearheaded initial attainment of SADCAS ISO 15189:2012 accreditation for the Viral Load Laboratory and supported SARS-CoV-2 PCR testing.
