Rudra Roy

I am a dedicated B.Tech student specializing in Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, with a CGPA of 8.53. My academic journey has been enriched by hands-on research experiences, notably as a Research Intern at Jadavpur University, where I led a project on multilingual claim span detection. This project not only honed my technical skills but also resulted in a presentation at ICPR'2024-CSI, where I was honored with the best result among all participants.

My research contributions have been recognized in multiple publications, including works accepted at prestigious conferences like ICPR 2024 and FIRE 2024. I have developed innovative frameworks using transformer-based models, achieving impressive accuracy metrics. My projects, such as the Claim Span Identification Tool and the Phishing Website Detector, showcase my ability to apply machine learning techniques to real-world problems, further solidifying my passion for data science and natural language processing.
