Rose Schmiedeknecht

I’m a book cover and graphics designer who “Owns It,” collaborating directly to solidify concepts, then creating multiple iterations to test compositions and get the look right. I bring variety through illustration, motion graphics, and production prepping, including letterpress printing and photography-focused aesthetic decisions.

In my Graphics Editor role for Rock Class 101, I compiled and edited graphics using Photoshop and Illustrator, then supported layouts and visual assets with InDesign. I also produced motion and edits with After Effects and Premiere Pro, managed weekly delivery, and used Lightroom to support image quality while maintaining a workflow that allowed time for additional refinement.

My experience also includes customer-facing, detail-oriented work as a Target Beauty Representative and Small Format Employee from 2020–2025, where I communicated promptly, stayed organized across multiple tasks, and made non-judgemental decisions that supported product presentation. I’ve studied Graphic Design | New Media at the University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University, earning AP Portfolio Honors and transferring as a student.
