I’m looking for an entry-level accounting role where I can support reconciliations, ledger work, and audit readiness, while contributing accurate bookkeeping, clear communication, and strong attention to detail in a collaborative, deadline-driven team.

I’m a motivated, detail-oriented Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) student at the University of Nairobi and a CPA Foundation Level candidate. I focus on accurate financial operations—especially bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and supporting accounting processes with analytical thinking.

During my industrial attachment at Kenya Railways Corporation, I prepared bank reconciliations by comparing cashbook balances against bank statements and flagging discrepancies for supervisor review. I also processed and recorded payment applications in SAP to ensure correct posting to relevant accounts, while organizing financial documentation to support audit readiness and compliance checks.

Alongside my accounting work, I’ve developed strong quality and communication skills as a Copy Editor (Remote) at Hope Writers. I review and edit content for clarity and grammatical accuracy, provide detailed feedback to contributors, and coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines to deliver publish-ready output.
