At BARDA, I lead scientific and program management for an $800M+ international biomedical development platform advancing medical countermeasures against high-priority bacterial and viral pathogens. I oversee a 40+ product portfolio spanning discovery through first-in-human trials and regulatory approval.
I coordinate therapeutic and diagnostic candidates through preclinical and early clinical milestones, aligning research, clinical, regulatory, legal, and technical teams. I also manage global external partners and CROs, including budgets, deliverables, and milestone-based execution.
Previously, at USAID’s Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER), I directed a $120M global biomedical research portfolio and secured $40M in co-investment. At USAID’s U.S. Global Development Lab, I coordinated pathogen surveillance and countermeasure programs during the West Africa Ebola outbreak response, including a deployment to Liberia.
My work builds on field research into infectious and vector-borne diseases at the NIH Mali Field Program, where I operated and managed a BSL-2 laboratory. I hold a Ph.D. in Cellular Biophysics & Virology from The Rockefeller University and completed an NIH postdoctoral fellowship in malaria.
