My work emphasizes mainstreaming styles so garments look ordinary while providing functionality — easy dressing, adjustable fits, comfort, durability and discreet accommodation for prostheses and assistive devices.

I prioritize fabric choice and construction techniques (stretch knits, tubular knits, gussets, action pleats, reversible seams) to enhance mobility, thermal comfort, and ease of care, while using design elements to flatter and normalize appearance.

I follow a structured design process—research, user-centred criteria, planning, execution and evaluation—and apply solutions such as accessible fastenings, contoured under-fashion, adjustable waistlines, and specialized pocketing to improve independence and self-esteem.
