Robert Hatcher

I am an IT Specialist with extensive experience in cybersecurity and operational technology, particularly within NASA. My role as a civil service team lead at Marshall Space Flight Center involved ensuring compliance with federal requirements and best practices, such as NIST publication 800-82. I conducted thorough analyses of both physical and cyber security, ensuring that all operational technology devices were adequately protected and compliant with mandates.

In addition to my technical responsibilities, I played a key role in writing and reviewing agency-wide policy documents and managing cybersecurity applications within NASA's Enterprise Cyber Logging software. My involvement in the NASA AI Cyber Discussions Group has allowed me to stay at the forefront of advancements in AI and Machine Learning, ensuring that new technologies are implemented securely. I also have experience as an adjunct professor, where I taught Information Security Fundamentals, sharing my knowledge and passion for cybersecurity with students.
