Rishika User

I am an AI and backend engineer with experience in applied machine learning, backend architecture, and software quality engineering.

During my AI Research internship at Appy Pie, I built an end-to-end AI video evaluation leaderboard, designed multimodal evaluation pipelines, developed a locally hosted vision-language model judging framework, and engineered asynchronous FastAPI services for concurrent request processing. These experiences exposed me to both AI research and production-oriented software engineering.

My projects focus on solving practical problems through scalable software. I built EVOCA, a privacy-focused AI memory assistant that combines RAG, FAISS vector search, local embeddings, and on-device language models for contextual memory retrieval. I also developed a PostgreSQL-based job-processing system and a full-stack task management platform with role-based authentication and live deployment.

My primary interests include backend engineering, AI infrastructure, large language models, distributed systems, and applied machine learning. I enjoy transforming research concepts into reliable and scalable products while continuously exploring new technologies and engineering practices.
