Richard Emmanuel

I'm a Registered Nurse who has provided direct care across home, inpatient, community, psychiatric, ophthalmic, and emergency settings. I deliver patient assessment, medication administration, vital-sign monitoring, care planning, documentation, and health education with a strong focus on safety.

In private home care, I've supported a patient recovering from stroke through medication management, mobility assistance, feeding, physiotherapy support, home exercise, and coordination with physicians. I've also provided physical care, rehabilitation, neurological and musculoskeletal assessments, pain management, and behavioural support for a non-verbal patient with autism spectrum disorder.

During my clinical training at University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, I supported coordinated patient care, infection control, triage, controlled-drug administration, emergency response, and patient advocacy under senior nurse supervision.

I've also gained experience at Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, National Eye Centre, Giri Primary Health Care Centre, and Wuse District Hospital. I'm motivated to contribute compassionate, organized, and accountable nursing care within a dynamic healthcare team.
