Served as primary finance subject-matter expert for a core workstream during discovery and design, and directed finance and control requirements for a major payments platform transformation. Stepped in to cover a critical program leadership gap during UAT and designed fit-to-standard process and control coverage across enterprise workstreams.

Owned the SOx compliance framework for Booking.com's main operating entity, covering internal controls for facilitated payment flows. Led and coached a team of Accountants, cut month-end close from 6 to 4 days through automation, and proactively surfaced control issues ahead of audit findings.

Managed month-end close for wallet, BHFS, and PSP products, ensuring cross-system reconciliation. Led implementation of redemption-rate logic for wallet campaigns, supported UAT for banking integrations, and mentored junior team members.

Planned and led audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, managing assistant teams from planning through to financial statement review. Advised clients on setting up financial administrations and ensured compliance with reporting regulations.

Led audit teams and was responsible for trainee development and audit quality across planning, execution, and documentation. Managed client relationships across retail, fishing, education, and non-profit sectors, and prepared audit budgets to track effectiveness.

Developed audit plans, conducted evaluations, and documented accounting systems. Reviewed junior team members' work and provided constructive feedback, and completed training to qualify as an assessor for trainees.
