I’m a results-driven Ab Initio Developer (ETL & Data Integration Specialist) with 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering large-scale ETL pipelines, data integration solutions, and automated workflows for high-volume banking systems at Barclays. I specialize in Ab Initio GDE (Reformat, Join, Sort, Rollup, Normalize, Lookup), Conduct>IT workflow orchestration, and EME metadata management.

In my roles at Barclays, I owned end-to-end design and delivery of Ab Initio ETL pipelines for Virtual Account Management (BVAM) and MassPay European bulk payment processing, supporting millions of daily transactions. I’ve handled complex data transformations—including EBCDIC/packed decimal formats—and ensured financial data integrity through tracing, validation, and reusable transformation utilities.

I’m currently re-entering the workforce after a planned family break, and I’m actively preparing for the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification while building my foundation for cloud-native pipelines and modern ELT patterns. I bring strong Agile/Scrum collaboration, production deployment (MTP) experience, and a continuous-improvement mindset focused on reliability, lineage, and reducing recurring data quality incidents.
