At Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), I processed, sanitized, and validated field survey and macroeconomic datasets using Python, Excel, and REDCap. I also applied SDMX taxonomy frameworks to harmonize metadata flows across inter-departmental systems.
I developed automated data quality checks and validation scripts to identify anomalies and streamline raw data ingestion for GDP statistical analysis. I also helped prepare clean diagnostic reports for senior leadership.
In my projects, I engineered a credit-scoring data pipeline with Python, SQL, and dbt, and built relational schemas and forecasting pipelines for sales analytics. I also integrated Excel and SQL data into a star-schema model for KPI reporting and interactive dashboards.
