Rachel Vlog

I am a recent Bachelor of Science in Accounting Education graduate with practical experience as a Jr. Accountant and accounting teacher. I combine strong academic grounding from Lagos State University with hands-on exposure to bookkeeping and recordkeeping systems.

In my accounting role at Pillarcraft Accounting, I handled bank statement reconciliation, payroll processing, and reconciled bank transaction records using accounting software such as Xero, Zoho Books, and FreshBooks. I documented and improved recordkeeping and accounting systems leveraging current computer technology.

As an accounts teacher at Great Grace School, I adapted instructional methods to meet diverse student needs and provided guidance on academic and adjustment issues, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.

I also gained retail experience as a sales assistant at Bimbo and Co., handling stock, pricing, and customer transactions. I am detail-oriented, able to multitask in fast-paced environments, and keen to grow in accounting or finance roles that value accuracy and system-driven bookkeeping.
