Rachelli Fernandez
@rachellifernandez
Compassionate pediatrician dedicated to patient care and education.
What I'm looking for
As a dedicated pediatrician, I have a strong commitment to providing comprehensive care for children. My experience at Fundacosi XXI has allowed me to perform regular examinations, assess medical histories, and develop tailored treatment plans for my patients. I believe in the importance of educating families about health and lifestyle changes to promote overall well-being.
During my residency at the Armed Forces Central Hospital, I honed my skills in pediatric care, focusing on both medical and dietary guidance. My thesis on decompressive craniectomy showcased my dedication to advancing pediatric medicine. Additionally, my role as a chief resident has equipped me with leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Beyond my clinical experience, I have also contributed to the academic community as an electronic resources manager at the Juan Bosch Library, where I improved database administration and supported research initiatives. I am passionate about continuous learning and am currently pursuing a postgraduate program in pediatric nutrition.
