I am an efficient and reliable registered nurse seeking a position to utilize my nursing education and interpersonal skills in a health care setting. I have led patient-ready workflows across surgical care, from admission, observation, and discharge through recovery and safe discharge.

In my current role as an AOD (admission, observation and discharge) registered nurse, I prepare patients for surgery by coordinating with OR nurses and doctors so patients are ready on time. I receive patients from PACU for recovery until they are prepared for safe discharge.

Previously, I monitored post-surgical patients on the med/surg surgical floor and med/surg telemetry step-down unit, controlling pain, encouraging safe ambulation, and watching for surgical complications. I also supported quality improvements through shared governance initiatives for patient satisfaction, quality control, and infection prevention, while using my leadership strength as a unit auditor and shift scheduler.
