I have 6+ years of professional experience in payment operations, working as a Merchant Operator on an international payment-processing project. My day-to-day work involves matching payment transactions against bank statements provided by acquirers, reviewing and updating statement summaries, investigating payment discrepancies, handling payment inquiries, and processing disputes.

This experience has given me a strong understanding of transaction data, reconciliation, payment processes, accuracy, and problem-solving. I also have experience communicating with customers and handling customer-service-related inquiries, which has strengthened my ability to investigate issues, explain problems clearly, and work carefully with sensitive business information.

At the same time, I am in my third year of a Bachelor’s degree in Software Development at BYU-Idaho. Through my studies and personal projects, I have been developing practical skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, React, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. My current focus is particularly on backend development, APIs, and databases.

I am looking for a part-time remote opportunity that allows me to continue my current professional career while gaining experience in a remote environment. I am especially interested in payment operations, fintech, technical support, application support, and junior technology roles where my existing payment and customer-service experience can be combined with my growing software development skills.

My long-term objective is to transition into a full-time software development role, particularly in backend or full-stack development, while bringing the business and payment-processing experience I have built over the past six years.
