Pruthvi Taranath
@pruthvitaranath
Master’s student at NYU passionate about software development, machine learning, and blockchain.
What I'm looking for
I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science at New York University (NYU), and I have a diverse background in both industry and research. Over the last 3 years, I have worked at Deutsche Bank as an Associate, where I helped design and build a trade confirmation platform for the equities, rates, and credit derivatives business. I also interned with General Electric Healthcare, where I focused on researching offline authentication methods for field engineers and improving offline file transfer systems.
Beyond my professional experience, I am deeply engaged in research, particularly in blockchain technology and machine learning. I have worked as both a blockchain and machine learning researcher, exploring cutting-edge solutions to complex problems.
Throughout my undergraduate studies, I worked on several projects aimed at leveraging technology for social good, such as creating digital solutions to enhance women’s safety, designing systems to mitigate the impact of natural disasters, and developing e-voting mechanisms to improve democratic transparency. These projects have fueled my passion for using technology to drive meaningful change.
My goal is to continue working in areas where I can apply my skills in software development, machine learning, and blockchain to create solutions that address both technical challenges and societal needs.
