Priyanka Sujaykumar

I’m a critical care clinician focused on delivering safe, hands-on intensive care for critically ill patients. My work centers on MICU and Neuro ICU care, with strong attention to continuous medical cover, clinical documentation, and clear communication with teams and families.

As a Registrar in Critical care medicine at Manipal Millers Road (previously Vikram Hospital), I worked on a rotational basis in a 16 bedded MICU and 8 bedded Neuro ICU. I developed my practice alongside learned consultants Dr Vijay and Dr Shashidhar, and strengthened my procedural skills through real ICU exposure.

I progressed through Junior consultant and Associate consultant roles in Critical care medicine, including ICU care in 15 bedded MICU and later MICU + Neuro critical care + transplants. Across these roles, I handled key ICU responsibilities like managing the airway, invasive ventilation, catheterization, CPR management, and coordinated therapeutic plans with surgeons and physicians.

I also bring an Anaesthesiology background (MD, Anaesthesiology) that supports my focus on emergency stabilization, pharmacological management, and procedural care. I’m committed to meticulous patient assessment, interpretation of diagnostic results, diligent diagnostic follow-through, and effective handover to protect patient continuity.
