What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead risk-based internal audits in a bank environment—driving control strengthening, regulatory compliance, and measurable operational efficiency—while mentoring teams and delivering clear, decision-ready audit reporting to senior stakeholders.

I’m a Chartered Accountant with over 13 years’ experience across internal audit and treasury operations in a Tier-1 banking environment. In my current role as Team Lead, Internal Audit at ANSAH Access Bank Ghana PLC, I lead risk-based audits across operational, treasury, and Adisadel, Cape Coast, functional units in line with regulatory and internal Ghana audit standards.

I direct end-to-end audit engagements—planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up—so audit work improves turnaround time and quality. I strengthen issue remediation discipline to reduce repeat audit findings, and I deliver concise, high-impact audit reports that support risk-informed decision-making for senior management. I also coach and mentor audit staff to improve technical competence and adherence to audit methodology.

Across previous roles, I’ve executed audits on treasury operations, payments, and high-value regulatory reporting; assessed the effectiveness of internal controls; and identified control gaps and efficiency opportunities. I’ve also conducted fraud and misconduct investigations, contributed to process improvements delivering approximately 10% efficiency gains in regulatory reporting, and supported treasury operations through liquidity and Net Open Position (NOP) monitoring using SWIFT, RTGS, and GIS.
