Pooja Sood

I bring 7+ years of hands-on academic experience as an Assistant Professor ECE at Bells Institute of Management and Technology, Shimla (08/2013–11/2017) and as a Lecturer ECE at Govt. Polytechnic, Rohru (01/2010–12/2012). I’m committed to delivering clear teaching, strong learning support, and structured classroom guidance with consistent follow-through.

With an M. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (completed Feb 2017) and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (completed July 2009), I also strengthened my computing foundation through a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) (RCSAS Education 2023). My academic work includes projects like Biometric security using palm vein recognition and a Speech controlled, car system, alongside industrial training from TTSL Shimla, BSNL Shimla, and institute workshop training.

I aim to “establish myself as a professional in all fields and refine my skills by gaining experience,” using my capabilities in an “effective and efficient manner” with a positive, learning-oriented approach. I’ve also been recognized as a merit holder in matriculation and have received scholarships (e.g., state government and Directorate of Technical Education, Sundernagar), reinforcing my drive for excellence and continuous improvement.
