I am an aspiring accountant pursuing professional accounting qualifications and practical experience in finance and auditing. I have completed internships and vocational certifications that strengthened my technical foundation and accounting knowledge.
During a year-long finance internship at Nippon Paint Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, I handled SAP updates, supplier invoice processing, cheque running, petty cash reimbursements, import payment arrangements, and withholding tax preparation. I also supported utility and supplier payments across locations.
I have additional experience from BirdsEye Management Service (Pvt) Ltd where I prepared bank documents, invoices, share confirmation letters, and handled company registration and IRD/TIN account setup through ROC and IRD systems. I am studying for Business Level 2 with CA Sri Lanka and an HNDA in Accountancy.
I bring attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and leadership through community service and student leadership projects focused on educational support for underprivileged children. I seek to apply my practical skills while continuing professional development in accounting and auditing.
