What I'm looking for

I seek roles that combine clinical ophthalmic practice, nurse education, and stakeholder engagement in supportive teams that value evidence-based care and professional development.

I am an experienced registered nurse with specialist training in ophthalmic nursing and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Nursing Education. I have delivered clinical care, supervised and taught student nurses, and supported eye outreach programmes across district hospitals.

As an ophthalmic nurse I am competent in eye examinations, fundoscopy, tonometry, suturing, minor procedures and local/regional anaesthesia, and I have participated in eye camps and outreach services. I contribute to patient assessment, diagnosis, nursing care plans and infection control.

In a commercial capacity I worked as a medical sales representative detailing products to healthcare professionals, creating customer databases, gathering market intelligence and implementing marketing plans to meet sales targets. I have attended pharmacovigilance and pharmaceutical marketing trainings.

I am motivated, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision, with strengths in communication, relationship building with healthcare stakeholders, training delivery, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
