Phoebe Anderton
@phoebeanderton
Aspiring instructional designer with a strong educational background.
What I'm looking for
I am a recent graduate from Eastern Washington University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education, graduating Cum Laude. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Technology and Instructional Design, expected to be completed by December 2025. My academic journey has equipped me with strong communication and organizational skills, which I am eager to apply in a dynamic instructional design environment.
During my student teaching experience at Rogers High School, I successfully guided 9th-grade students through complex literary concepts and writing assignments. I crafted engaging learning experiences based on educational theories and methodologies, while also participating in professional development workshops to refine my teaching practices. My practicum at Shaw Middle School further honed my classroom management skills and my ability to facilitate meaningful discussions around literature.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked as a Substitute Express Activity Leader, where I implemented schedules of activities for school-age children and collaborated with teachers on community outreach initiatives. I am passionate about creating effective instructional materials and fostering positive learning environments, and I look forward to contributing my skills to a forward-thinking organization.
