What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead operations and finance with IFRS-compliant reporting, strong risk management, and ICT-driven processes. I want an organization that values compliance, improvement of workflow, and measurable business growth.

I am a highly self-driven, analytical professional with strong operational leadership and service-minded management. I combine finance, compliance, and ICT expertise to help organizations run efficiently and sustainably.

As General Manager at Biokem Supplies (December 2017 to May 2025), I directed day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. I developed and implemented business strategies aligned with organizational goals, created and processed payroll, and led risk management covering Liquidity risk, Credit risk, Market risk (Foreign currency risk), Interest rate risk, and price risk.

I prepare financial statements in line with IFRS, including Statement of Profit or Loss and Other Comprehensive Income, Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Cashflow, and Trial Balance. I also handle bank reconciliations and ensure timely preparation, filing, and payment of statutory deductions and taxes such as PAYE, SHIF, NSSF, WHT, NITA, VAT, MRI, and Import Duties while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Earlier, I served as an Academic Officer (May 2015 to August 2017), coordinating campuses, preparing monthly timetables, advising students, and orienting tutors to improve day-to-day academic processes. I also built strong records and data discipline through Industrial Attachment data entry work, and I bring well-polished communication and leadership to cross-functional teams.
