I’m a highly motivated accounting professional with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, and I’ve built hands-on confidence through my internal audit internship at the County Government of Kakamega. I care deeply about maintaining financial integrity and delivering accurate, reliable information.

During my internship, I conducted data analysis and verified the accuracy of financial records, including fuel drawn records and payment vouchers. I supported audits by participating in vouching and auditing of payroll, cashbooks, and supporting documents.

I also completed fieldwork audits on drainage construction projects, focusing on accountability of materials used. I reviewed documents for compliance with the PFM and Procurement Acts, then prepared audit remarks, documented findings, and contributed to report writing.

I’m proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office tools, and I’m comfortable working independently or as part of a team. My approach blends careful attention to detail with practical financial analysis—so audit and reporting work is both compliant and actionable.
