Peter Brincker

I’m a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with Big 4 audit experience across insurance, asset managers, and pension funds, and enterprise FP&A delivery for Aspen Pharmacare, Anglo American, and Hollard Insurance. I operate comfortably at CFO and executive level—leading transformation while building the technical systems that make it stick.

In my current role, I deliver enterprise FP&A and group financial modelling, including group consolidation with intercompany eliminations, multi-currency translation, and automated subsidiary data collection. I model actuarial allocations and automate journal preparation for insurance IFRS performance reporting, turning weeks-long processes into minutes through hands-on AI and automation.

I also build production AI systems alongside finance delivery—RAG application, LLM integrations (Claude, GPT, WatsonX), and ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow and Kafka. I co-founded and lead Cortell’s Data Science and Analytics capability, bringing finance delivery and applied data science together.

Previously at PwC South Africa, I audited insurance companies, asset managers, and pension funds, led teams of 8–12, and reported directly to CFOs and audit committees. I built and deployed 40+ digital tools adopted by 3,000+ professionals across three countries, and architected a Performance Analytics Platform used across the South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria assurance practices.
