What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role building cloud data platforms and reliable analytics pipelines, with room to apply multimodal ML. I value GDPR-ready security, clear documentation, and remote-first collaboration to ship dependable systems.

I’m a Data & AI Engineer with a PhD in Computational Engineering and over 10 years of experience using Python for scientific computing, numerical modeling, and data analysis. I bring scientific rigor into practical engineering by building reliable systems that turn raw data into actionable insights.

Currently, I’m a Data Engineer at Artemis Smart Data, designing data pipelines and analytics platforms with AWS, Databricks, and Delta Lake. I built a GDPR-compliant AWS data lake using S3 policies and IAM RBAC, and I orchestrate 20+ daily Databricks pipelines with dynamic scaling to achieve a 99.5% SLA and fewer failures.

Beyond pipelines, I work on multimodal AI systems integrating computer vision and language models using PyTorch and Hugging Face. I fine-tuned YOLOv8 for frame-conditioned detection, adapted BLIP for frame-aware captioning, and published models and interactive demos with Gradio.

I’m also driven by industry impact through an independent Remote Tech Hiring Intelligence project, where I analyze global remote engineering jobs and publish daily LinkedIn insights on hiring trends across AI, DevOps, and Data Engineering.
