At United Bank for Africa (UBA), I lead storage, virtualization, and backup operations for mission-critical core banking environments. I administer platforms hosting 30,500+ virtual machines and workloads.

I engineered a zero-downtime migration of 5+ PB of enterprise data from legacy Dell EMC Unity systems and migrated 4 PB to Dell EMC Data Domain appliances. I also provisioned 700 TB of CIFS capacity and reclaimed 250 TB of primary storage.

I oversee protection and recovery for database and filesystem workloads using Commvault, Dell EMC NetWorker, and Avamar. My work also includes disaster recovery exercises and implementing Zero Loss Recovery Appliance for database protection.
