Pasindu Thennakoon

I’m a Computer Science undergraduate with a 3.4/4.0 GPA and hands-on experience building end-to-end machine learning and deep learning applications. I focus on turning data into working systems—data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment-ready solutions.

I’ve developed multi-domain projects spanning computer vision, NLP, predictive modeling, image classification, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation. I build REST APIs and interactive applications (FastAPI and Streamlit), and I containerize models and pipelines with Docker to keep development and deployment consistent.

In my work, I prioritize measurable performance and reproducibility. I use Git/GitHub for version control and MLflow for experiment tracking, and I apply robust validation practices such as cross-validation and careful preprocessing pipelines to improve reliability.

Right now, I’m seeking an AI/ML, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, or AI Engineering internship where I can contribute to real-world, data-driven solutions. I want to collaborate with teams that value strong engineering fundamentals, fast iteration, and models that work effectively in production.
