I'm leading quality assurance and test management for Bank of Ireland’s strategic payments transformation and regulatory programmes, including its Faster Payments Strategic Solution using the ICON IPF Payment Engine.
I drive SIT, UAT, end-to-end and non-functional testing across cloud-native payment platforms, overseeing Kubernetes microservices, MongoDB and Kafka integrations. I also manage a 12-person test organisation across onshore and offshore teams.
My payments work spans ISO 20022 migration, SWIFT CBPR+, SEPA Instant Payments, Open Banking, PSD2, Apple Pay, contactless debit cards and PCI DSS compliance. I’ve delivered transformation programmes for Nationwide Building Society, Allica Bank, Carnival UK, Corpay, Northern Rock, Santander, Thomson Reuters and Infosys.
