Parisa Safaei

Throughout my academic journey, I have built a strong foundation in optimization techniques and decision-making tools, equipping me with the analytical skills necessary to solve complex problems in dynamic environments. For my bachelor’s degree project, I applied the Fuzzy Delphi approach to predict enterprise development time in Iran, which introduced me to the value of structured methods for decision-making.

As an industrial engineer, I have also conducted research in the healthcare and data mining fields. Among these projects, my master’s thesis was carried out in a real-world environment, providing me with valuable hands-on experience in data analysis. In this work, I applied data mining methods to patient datasets and extracted rules based on analytical models. These patterns were then used by physicians to support diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment decisions in healthcare organizations—an approach closely related to data storytelling.

I have also worked for several years as a control project specialist, where I applied my analytical skills in a professional setting. Through collaboration with my teammates, we designed client-focused solutions for software applications customized to meet customers’ needs.

I am motivated to apply for volunteering opportunities where real-world experiences equip me with the professional expertise needed to tackle challenges in industries where data-driven decisions can profoundly improve people’s lives.
