What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue teaching and supporting English-medium degree programmes—strengthening academic writing, reading, and assessment—while also growing digital teaching through online platforms and ICT coordination for international, multilingual cohorts.

I’m an experienced English and Academic English instructor with extensive practice in higher education and international learning contexts. My strongest focus is academic writing, reading, and critical literacy, supported by structured speaking and presentation skills. I also specialize in English-medium instruction (EMI) and in helping students build academic confidence through clear, practical study skills.

In higher education, I design and deliver structured curricula that develop language proficiency and academic skills for English-taught programmes. I assess student performance with a strong emphasis on formative feedback, and I collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and teaching practices. I also deliver Academic English and English for academic purposes, ensuring lessons stay aligned to measurable learning outcomes.

Alongside teaching, I serve as an Online Education & ICT Coordinator, where I manage online education platforms and ICT systems for teaching and learning. I coordinate training and support to enhance digital teaching practices, and I actively support English-medium and online delivery in higher education contexts. This blend of pedagogy and technology helps me create learning experiences that are consistent, accessible, and effective for multilingual cohorts.

My teaching background also includes roles across secondary and primary settings, including department lead, where I supported curriculum planning, coordinated teaching resources, and worked closely with colleagues, parents, and managers to strengthen student progress. With qualifications in Applied Linguistics and ongoing professional development (including trainer roles and Learning Technologies), I bring a student-centered, assessment-informed approach that works in mixed, flexible, international curricula.
