What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver coaching rooted in evidence-based diabetes prevention, support measurable behavior change, and work with diverse communities through bilingual, culturally responsive programming.

I’m a compassionate healthcare professional and lifestyle coach focused on chronic disease management and preventive care. Since April 2021, I’ve been delivering the Diabetes Prevention Program in English and Spanish, monitoring participant outcomes, and adapting evidence-based diabetes prevention strategies to meet cultural and community needs.

I bring hands-on experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting members with chronic conditions like asthma, copd, and weight management, and reinforcing behavior change through motivational interviewing, lifestyle coaching, and health data tracking. My background also includes building tobacco cessation support, developing COPD action planning, and running day-to-day Diabetes Prevention Program operations, plus earlier Respiratory Therapist roles where I educated patients, supported clinical protocols, and helped facilitate safer transitions after procedures.
