What I'm looking for

I'm interested in developing scalable systems that help non-researchers make better evidence-informed decisions.

At Toronto Metropolitan University, I support research operations and project coordination for Bridging Divides, Global Migration Institute, including interdisciplinary migration and artificial intelligence initiatives with partner universities. I also review faculty research grant applications and synthesize academic and policy information for diverse stakeholders.

At CERC in Migration and Integration, I conducted qualitative, policy, and governance research on complex regulatory frameworks. I supported collaborative projects and translated findings for academic and policy audiences.

As Lead Researcher for the CODESRIA Meaning Making Research Initiative, I led a multidisciplinary team working across multiple countries. I coordinated research planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting, and aligned team contributions with project objectives.

My work has also included policy and legal research for international and academic clients, and editing for Refugee Review, ESPMI Network. I use NVivo for qualitative research and data analysis, and my book, South-South Migrations and the Law from Below: Case Studies on China and Nigeria, won the 2024 Hart-SLSA Book Prize.
