Om Prakash Sonteke

I’m a Petroleum Engineering graduate (B.Tech Upstream, UPES 2025) with hands-on upstream oilfield exposure in wireline log analysis, formation evaluation, and reservoir characterisation at Bharti Exploration Pvt. Ltd. I’m IWCF Level 1 Well Control certified, a globally recognised credential rare at fresher level.

I’m proficient in GVerse Petrophysics and GeoAtlas, and I’ve worked through petrophysical workflows and seismic interpretation to map structural horizons, faults, and derive isochrone/isopach outputs. During my internship, I identified 4 hydrocarbon pay zones across 3 wells using full wireline log suites (GR, resistivity, density, neutron) to directly support upstream field development decisions.

I also quantified reservoir quality by calculating shale volume (Vsh) and effective porosity, and contributed to volumetric reserve estimation feeding into field development planning and resource reporting. I’m an immediate joiner, open to PAN India and overseas oil and gas postings in oilfield or technical roles where I can keep building practical expertise from real operations.
