Omar Teffahi

Electrical engineer with a multidisciplinary background in power electronics, power systems, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), with a strong focus on simulation-driven engineering and R&D.

My experience includes the design and simulation of a 10 kV solid-state high-voltage power converter, integrating power-supply sizing, electrical protections, and EMC constraints from the early design stages. I also work on electromagnetic modeling, power-system studies, HVDC networks, optimization, and experimental EMC testing.

I use LTspice, CST Studio Suite, and MATLAB as complementary engineering tools: LTspice for circuit and converter behavior, CST for electromagnetic environments and EMC analysis, and MATLAB for modeling, optimization, and technical data processing. I also use Python and Power BI to analyze, structure, and communicate simulation or experimental results.

With Master’s-level training in both electrical engineering and electromagnetic compatibility, I am particularly interested in roles involving electrical design, power electronics, EMC, simulation, modeling, and R&D, where I can combine system-level understanding with detailed numerical and experimental analysis.
