What I'm looking for

I’m open to relocating or working remotely, and I want to build reliable, high-throughput backend systems in fintech or payments—leading migrations, designing event-driven APIs, and improving performance with strong engineering practices.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 10+ years building high-throughput, transaction-heavy platforms across fintech, e-commerce, and payments. I’m currently leading a Laravel→Spring Boot migration at Ratepay (Berlin fintech) and helping migrate services from on-prem SDDC to AWS.

My strengths are event-driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ), API design, and reliability engineering. I’ve optimized Kafka message consumption, improved processing reliability, mentored engineers through code reviews and design discussions, and helped drive platform performance by refactoring legacy paths and tuning SQL.
