Bioinformatician and Data Scientist building hard-problem solutions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a polymath Bioinformatician and Data Scientist with experience spanning software development, statistics, bioinformatics, systems engineering, and information security. My career includes building and supporting bioinformatics software and systems for a laboratory focused on microbial pathogenomics and microbiome studies, followed by a role at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
I’m driven to keep working on “hard problems” with a practical engineering mindset—balancing deep technical work with the ability to manage people and projects. My ultimate goal is to work in synthetic biology research, especially replacing industrial chemical processes and pharmaceutical manufacturing with engineered agriculture.
