What I'm looking for

I’m looking for Cloud/DevOps Engineer roles where I can bring the same rigor I apply to my own projects: security-first design, infrastructure as code, and a genuine “how does this actually break?” mindset.

I’m a self-taught Cloud/DevOps Engineer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Over the past 12 months, I’ve spent 1–2 hours a day building real infrastructure, breaking it, and fixing it.

I built a cloud-native e-commerce platform on EKS using ArgoCD, Helm, Istio, Falco, and OPA Gatekeeper for policy enforcement. I also built an automated cost optimization bot with Lambda, EventBridge, and Athena.

In my current Cloud DevOps Engineer role at Amazon Web Services (AWS), I design and deploy AWS infrastructure with Terraform, build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and develop serverless applications. I hold AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) and Cloud Practitioner credentials.
