Nishtha Jain

I’m a results-driven Python Developer with hands-on experience in backend development, REST API design, and database-driven applications. I’m proficient in Django and Django REST Framework, and I focus on building clean, production-ready services.

My background includes designing and optimizing SQL-heavy systems using techniques like joins, window functions, and CTEs, with a strong emphasis on query performance. I’ve also worked with asynchronous task processing using Celery and Redis for background jobs and caching.

I enjoy turning requirements into working solutions through real collaboration—whether it’s building CRUD endpoints with JWT authentication, writing unit tests to validate edge cases, or deploying APIs with environment management. On the data side, I’ve delivered KPI dashboards using Power BI to support business decision-making.

I also bring an AI foundation from my IBM internship, where I studied chatbot lifecycle concepts and built an end-to-end IBM Watson Assistant chatbot using NLP services. I’m eager to contribute to production-grade Python/Django projects in a collaborative engineering team.
