Nina Nowak

I’m a working student in Integration & Testing at Nokia, focused on the telecommunications domain. I design, write, and execute test cases for integrated telecom systems and interfaces, then use the results to drive defect reporting and resolution.

In addition to integration, functional, and system-level testing, I analyze outcomes, cooperate closely with developers, and re-test fixes after implementation. I also support deployment and release activities, making sure changes land with confidence in real workflows.

My projects reflect my curiosity for real-time data and robust software design. In my ongoing master’s thesis, I’m building a Kafka-based system for real-time textual stream processing, vectorization/embedding accumulation, and detection of distribution shifts using anomaly and drift methods.

I’ve also built microcontroller-based access control with ESP32 (PIN and NFC authentication), integrated Wi-Fi event reporting via MQTT, and created a web interface for user management and access log monitoring. Alongside that, I developed a custom C# command-line shell—skills that round out my focus on reliable system behavior across software and hardware.
