Nikola Vasiljević

I am a frontend developer transitioning from a background in economics and safety/security into building interactive web experiences. I completed a Frontend Developer Bootcamp at CODE by Comtrade where I gained hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React, and Tailwind CSS.

My projects include SoundNest, an interactive music streaming web application completed as a final bootcamp project, and Cat Against The Rules, a seven-day game-industry task that demonstrates rapid prototyping and game UI skills. I maintain project code in public GitHub repositories and have an itch.io demo for the game project.

Before moving into development, I held roles related to security and professional internships in the finance sector, and I hold a Bachelor of Economics. This combination gives me a practical understanding of business contexts alongside technical front-end capabilities.

I bring a pragmatic, learning-first approach and aim to deliver clean, user-focused interfaces using modern front-end tooling. I am focused on continued growth in React ecosystems and applying my analytical background to build effective products.
